Hello all - I'm new to the forum
So, what is the point of the Honda CRZ?? - it isn't efficient, sporty, cheap, or environmentally friendly. Sure it looks good to some people (myself included), but if I want a slow car that looks good I'll go by a Prelude or V6 Mustang (not the new one, the new V6 seems really good). Check out the stats, the Honda CRZ has NOTHING going for it. I think you'd have to be a complete idiot to buy one..
This car joins a lot of other hybrids that don't perform - I'll use the example of a Prius - if you have a first gen Prius, you have a car worth $0, BECAUSE the battery will need to be replaced soon if it hasn't been already. If you had purchased a corolla, you'd have had a better performing car that ultimately costs way less. Also, when you consider the damage the battery does to the environment, you've actually made things worse (the guys on Top Gear said the total environmental impact of the Prius is worse then a Range Rover, mostly because of the batteries)
The thing that makes me really mad is how awesome the car manufactures make their hybrid product seem, when in reality all they're selling you is a badge that maybe makes you feel better, while you'll most likely drive a boring car that will cost you more... I wish the public would wake up/not by into the hype so car companies would be forced to come up with a better solution!!
