Sustainable forestry is both a commercial necessity for the industry, as well as an environmentally friendly operation.

Grocery shoppers are faced with the question, "Paper or plastic?" It would be nice if the case was clear so that we didn't have to make the decision at all. Unfortunately, it's not so simple. One levels trees.

Not only are brown paper bags recyclable, 70 percent of the "new" bags you receive at a store are made from recycled paper themselves. Plastic bag recycling is much more complicated and not as efficient.
