Can anyone tell me if a notebook processor will work in a desktop computer? If the brand, processor speed, pin configuration, and fsb, etc are the same, will it work? Thanks

Desktop processors are generally faster in speed and better than notebook in many ways. The features a desktop processor includes many beneficial features that are not present in a notebook. Notebooks use mobile processors which uses less voltage to run cooler as it does not have fans or airy cases as in desktops. This added feature in a desktop ensures that its speed is most definitely faster. However, a desktop processor costs more than a notebook.
